New Player Useful Guide

Setup

Binding your Lock-On Key

This key will be used for locking on to enemy vehicles whenever you’re using something that can do that, like a Javelin for example. The default binding has a conflict with another function in Antistasi so it should be re-bound to something different. I personally use T despite the fact that this is also the default alternate radio channel button but that is often not a problem.

Binding your Enhanced Movement Rework All-in-One Key

You will have to use this key often to vault and climb over obstacles. I recommend setting it to V and unbinding Arma’s default vault function.

Basic First Aid

BBPR
This is mandatory knowledge for all soldiers. First aid is every soldier’s job! Let the medics focus on giving advanced care.
Note: Doing a medical action on another player such as using a tourniquet or bandaging will prioritize using/consuming items from the patient’s inventory if available.

Bleeding

Check for bleeding (any yellow/red body parts).

Breathing

Check patient’s airway.

Pulse

Check pulse.
In case of no pulse, start CPR and inform a medic.

Recovery

If the player has a pulse, a clear airway, and is no longer bleeding, put the player in the recovery position after removing any tourniquets. If possible, monitor for any wound reopening or breathing difficulties until medic arrives.

Tips for Loadout

When creating a loadout for the first time/changing any weapon, your weapon will be unloaded. Make sure to exit the arsenal, reload your gun, then go back in and replace that magazine that you used from your inventory, then save your loadout. This is particularly relevant for launchers since their rockets take up a lot of space/weight.

General Equipment

These are things you should generally have in all your loadouts.
